Inaugural Morning Milk Run ADC 2025 – farmers getting active on the GC brought to you by the Bega Group

A herd of dairy farmers will swap the gumboots for sneakers as part of the inaugural ADC Morning Milk Run on the Gold Coast as part of ADC 2025 in southern Queensland.

Pounding the sand at 5.30am Gold Coast time, ADC is expecting a strong contingent of runners with the aim to combine health, fitness and comradery in a collective run on the iconic stretch of beach for a 3-kilometre route which participants can either run, power walk or stroll.

ADC Programming Chair Monique Bryant said that dairy farmers are notoriously early risers and often conduct their fitness regimes in isolation hence ADC 2025 is a great opportunity to combine for a collective fitness session.

“We all know dairy farmers are early risers (me included!) – so we are keeping them busy on the Gold Coast and helping their fitness and mental health with the ADC Morning Milk Run sponsored by the Bega Group,” said Monique.

“We have some special guests joining the farmer contingent to celebrate ‘farmers on the beach’ with Gold Coast Suns football players (???)), perhaps some ironman/woman personalities and there may even be some bovine friends joining us” she said.

“This is a chance for farmers to meet up, start their day the right way, and connect with colleagues from around the country in an informal and fun outlet,” she said.

“Australian dairy farmers are ready to take over the sand and leave their impact on the Gold Coast. I am sure it will be a sight to see!” said Monique.

Quotes from The Bega Group:

“The Bega Group is proud to support the ADC Morning Milk Run as a fantastic opportunity to connect dairy farmers from all over the country in an initiative that promotes health, fitness and wholesome dairy products”.

“We look forward to getting a strong contingent on the sand whilst also supporting the health and well-being of farmers by getting active and having a chat and making new connections”.

“The Bega Group will also have some nutritional dairy goodies to sustain and help recovery for all participants – as we all know dairy is great for post-exercise to replenish and restore. We are looking forward to ADC 2025 Gold Coast and having some fun in the sun.”
