Australian dairy conference

NEWS

The ADC 2023 program is littered with absolute goodness to make even the most conservative dairy farmer a tad excited. We have brought in the big guns from abroad and around the country to address issues that matter to you most – particularly issues that impact dairy operations into the future.

But there is more… on top of an already amazing released program we bring you the icing on the cake, the cake toppers or the best stocking fillers you could wish for this Christmas.

We already have the leading experts on climate change, carbon and methane, animal welfare and dairy operations. Add to that a journey of the most inspiring form, a lad from the Western districts who went on to be one of the best AFL players of all time, an ag storyteller and an old favourite who we have missed and will welcome back warmly.

Nedd Brockmann

You’ve more than likely seen the emotional scenes at Bondi Beach with 10,000 people welcoming home the man who captured hearts running across the nation.

This 23 year old sparky is the fastest ever Australian to run across the country (Perth to Bondi) in just over 46 days. That is averaging 80kms a day for the nearly 4000km run. A massive feat – think about the actuality of that as you read this! Insane.

Nedd’s daily Instagram updates captured the hearts of Australians from passing truckies to kids roadside cake stalls, council road workers and anyone in his path. As a result, he raised a whopping $2.5 million for the homeless charity Mobilise.

His daily quote of ‘get comfortable being uncomfortable’ is the perfect fit for ADC 2023 as he inspires people across Australia to take on new challenges.

Nedd will be live on stage at ADC 2023, proudly brought to you by the Gardiner Foundation, to share this inspirational journey.

Oli le Lievre

He may not have been running across the country as fast as Nedd Brockmann but this young entrepreneur has been climbing the influence ladder quickly as he captures the insider stories of ag across the country.

As the founder of Humans of Agriculture, Oli is busy uncovering the ‘real’ stories of Australian agriculture from farmers to CEOs, artisans, those behind the scenes and influence-makers.

His initial podcasts have made waves throughout the country inspiring real change and his latest venture into film is destined to see him achieve even greater things.

Oli will lead our closing session at ADC 2023 Hobart exploring what is possible and doing what he does best – interviewing some special guests including Nedd Brockmann.

Jonathan Brown

Australian dairy industry’s brand ambassador Jonathon Brown will also be joining us live at ADC 2023 Hobart.

Coming from a family of multi-generational dairy farmers this Aussie rules football legend and media personality has a genuine and passionate connection to the dairy industry.

Beyond his family connection, the ex-Brisbane Lions captain credits high protein dairy foods as playing an important role in his preparation and recovery as a professional athlete and as part of a healthy diet for growing kids.

Brown will help judge the ADC Young Dairy Scientist Award along with taking to the stage with a conversation with Mick Harvey at the ADC Gala Dinner hosted by Rabobank.
