The ADC Innovators Award sponsored by the Gardiner Foundation is a revamped edition of the former ADC Young Dairy Scientist Award extending the reach beyond pure research projects in 2025.
Seeking the most innovative ideas or research-backed projects, applications were narrowed down in to a group of 5 finalists who presented their idea or research to the 650 delegation at ADC 2025 Gold Coast.
A written application, video pitch and online interview formed the early part of selection criteria with the judging panel identifying projects of most relevance and impact to the Australian dairy industry.
Allan Cameron, Gardiner Foundation Chief Executive and co-host of ADC Innovator Award at ADC 2025 Gold Coast said the finalists played an important role showcasing innovation across the dairy industry.
“The diversity and practicality of the innovations, ideas and solutions presented by the finalists as part of the ADC Innovator Award have been truly impressive,” said Allan.
“The range of content covered as part of the ADC Innovators Award ranged from practical on-farm apps to methane reduction, calf health and the challenges of producing A2 milk – all valuableponents that make up the dairy industry processes and milk production,” he said.
‘The ADC Innovator Award highlights the importance of fresh thinking and practical solutions in shaping the future of the dairy industry. Gardiner Foundation is proud to support this initiative, which not only recognises innovation but also enables emerging leaders to turn their ideas into real impact.
Congratulations to Grant Rogers and all finalists for their commitment to advancing Australian dairy.’
Finalists receive complimentary registration to attend ADC 2025 Gold Coast 12-14 February 2025, speaker training to assist communicating their project to farmers and the winner a $3,000 bursary to assist professional development.
